Settings ======== To access the settings section in InternalBooks, log in to the admin dashboard with your administrative credentials. Once logged in, you will find the **Settings** section in the navigation menu. In the Settings section, you can configure various application settings. General Settings ----------------- - Product Activation Status: Shows the current activation status of the product. - If the product is not activated, you will see a message indicating that, the remaining days of the trial period and a link to the activation page. - For more information on activating the product, refer to the :doc:`../activation` section. - Currency: Allows you to set the currency for the application. Security ----------------- - Change Password: You can change the password for the admin account. Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password. .. important:: Change the default admin password immediately after your first login to ensure the security of your application. Employee Settings ----------------- - Number of recent transactions to show: This setting allows you to specify how many recent transactions should be displayed in the employee dashboard. Data ----------------- - Backup Database: You can create a backup of the database by clicking the "Backup" button. This will download the database file to your local machine. - Export Data As: You can export the data as CSV or JSON. Select the desired format and click the "Export" button to download the data. .. important:: Create a backup of your database regularly to prevent data loss.
